April is recognised as Stress Awareness Month, a time when we focus on the impact that stress has on our lives and the importance of managing it effectively. Stress is a normal part of life, and we all experience it from time to time. However, when stress becomes chronic, it can have a detrimental effect on our physical and mental health. In this blog post, we will discuss why understanding stress and knowing how to deal with it is crucial for our overall well-being.

It's important to understand what stress is and how it affects us. Stress is a physiological response that our body experiences when we face a challenging situation or event. This response is commonly known as the 'fight or flight' response, which prepares our body to either confront the challenge or escape from it. They can also provide us with support and guidance as we navigate the challenges of stress.
